About us
Built to make sourcing in South-East Asia transparent, precise, and human.
Our mission
Engineers and procurement teams waste months to find contract manufacturers they can trust across South-East Asia (SEA). Information is incorrect, missing, fragmented, credentials are hard to verify, and a wrong match costs months.
South-East Asia Manufacturing Network is build to change that. We are building a single, reliable directory source where every supplier profile is structured around real manufacturing capabilities, processes, certifications, served markets with clear human executed verification. Procurement professionals can shortlist suppliers with confidence and suppliers can be found for exactly what they do best, building amazing products.
Founder story
The idea started from experience, not from a business plan. After moving to South-East Asia and building a contract manufacturing operation here, we experienced first-hand what it takes to find the right manufacturing partners. Over time, we built a network of reliable suppliers and developed a deep understanding of machining, assembly, quality, cleanroom manufacturing and many other competences.
But finding the right partner was still unnecessarily difficult. Websites often looked not impressive nor respresenting what you find the actual factory (if they even have a webpage), while the information engineers actually needed was missing: What can they really manufacture? What tolerances can they hold? What materials and processes do they work with? What certifications do they have? And, most importantly, can they deliver consistently?
That experience led us to create SEA Manufacturing Network. We wanted to make the manufacturing landscape in South-East Asia easier to understand and easier to navigate, by connecting companies with suppliers based on real capabilities, relevant experience and evidence, rather than simply marketing claims. Today, the platform is built around the same principles we use when selecting suppliers ourselves: technical understanding, transparency and trust. We speak the language of engineers and manufacturers, from tolerances and materials to lead times, quality systems and certifications, because we believe the best manufacturing relationships start with the right information.
How suppliers are listed and verified
A supplier does not buy a top spot. They earn trust through a clear, staged process that gives buyers visibility into how thoroughly each company has been checked.
Listed
A supplier creates a profile with company details, capabilities, certifications, and served markets. Every entry is reviewed before it appears in the directory.
Document-verified
We check registration documents, quality certificates, and key credentials against independent sources. Verified badges show buyers what has been confirmed.
On-site verified
Our network partners visit the factory floor, assess equipment, processes, and working standards, and document findings so buyers can quote with confidence.
A note on verification: Every supplier in the directory has passed our listing review. Document and on-site verification are additional layers shown on each profile, so you always know the basis for trust.
Our methodology
- Capability-first taxonomy. We classify every supplier by process group and competence, not by vague industry terms, so searches return matches that can actually do the work.
- Evidence over marketing. Certifications, markets served, and verification status are displayed clearly. Buyers see what has been checked; suppliers show what they can prove.
- Human verification. Documents are reviewed by our team and, where possible, supplemented by local partners who know the factories, the regions, and the standards.
- Continuous quality. Profiles are refreshed regularly, and verification levels are updated as new information and audit reports become available.
