Raw Material Production - Added to Platform
Suppliers of metals, polymers and other base materials now have their own category and sub-categories.
SEA Manufacturing Network has added a new top-level category to its supplier directory, Raw Material Production!
The category covers companies that produce the base materials other manufacturers work with. It launches with sub-categories for advanced & nano materials, Bio-based & biomass, ceramics & glass, chamical & speciality, composites & reinforcements, metals and alloys, minerals, polymers & resins, rubbers and elastomers!
Before this update, material producers had no obvious home on the platform categories. Most listed themselves under processing categories such as machining or moulding. Buyers looking for a material source had to find them via other categories, which is now changed!
Buyers can now filter for material producers directly. That helps when checking where a contract manufacturer gets its stock, or when sourcing material for an in-house line.
Suppliers already on the platform can add the new category from their company profile. New suppliers can list their company for free at sea-manufacturing-network.com.
The sub-category list will grow based on what suppliers ask for. Suggestions can be sent to info@sea-manufacturing-network.com!
